Customer Terms of Use

These terms apply to BornTiger Market accounts and purchases. BornTiger Co., Ltd. selects, prices, publishes, sells, delivers, refunds, and supports every listed product. BornTiger is the only customer-facing seller and contracting party for purchases through the currently active checkout.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 14 years old and legally capable of using the service and entering the relevant transaction. If local law requires a parent or guardian's involvement, you may use the service only with that involvement. You must provide accurate information, protect your account, and promptly notify BornTiger of suspected unauthorized use.

2. Products and Pricing

Product pages describe the content, format, price, intended use, compatibility, and delivery method. International checkout prices are shown in USD through PayPal. When a separate South Korea checkout is offered, its KRW price is shown before the customer leaves for the BornTiger Imweb store. BornTiger may correct an obvious error before completing an order and will not substitute materially different content without notice.

3. Payment and Contract Formation

Your order is complete only after BornTiger verifies successful payment and presents or sends an order confirmation. International payment processing is provided by PayPal. South Korea checkout, when offered, is completed on BornTiger's separate Imweb checkout using KG Inicis. BornTiger Market verifies the provider order, product, amount, status, and account email before granting access and does not store complete card credentials.

4. Digital Delivery

Paid downloadable products are made available after confirmed payment. Download links are time-limited and subject to the allowance displayed in your account. Download access begins when you request a secure download and BornTiger successfully issues its time-limited URL. Contact support if a verified technical failure prevents delivery.

5. Customer License

Unless a product page states otherwise, a purchase grants one customer a personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publicly share, remove ownership notices from, or claim ownership of the product.

6. Refunds and Customer Support

Refund eligibility and request procedures are stated in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived. The Buyer Library is the primary place to submit and monitor an eligible refund request; email support remains available when account access is unavailable.

7. Reviews and Public Content

A verified buyer may submit a rating and review. If approved, the review text, rating, display name, and date may be shown publicly; the buyer's email address is not displayed. Reviews must be truthful, product-focused, and must not contain personal data, unlawful material, harassment, spam, or undisclosed conflicts. BornTiger may moderate, hide, or remove reviews that violate these rules.

8. Acceptable Use and Security

You may not misuse the site, bypass access controls, scrape non-public data, interfere with security, upload malicious material, impersonate another person, abuse refund or review systems, or use products unlawfully. When a product uses files, images, names, voices, likenesses, brands, or other protected material, you may use only material you own or have explicit permission to use. You may not use a product to impersonate, deceive, infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights, or create unlawful or harmful content.

9. Intellectual Property

BornTiger and applicable rights holders retain their intellectual property rights. A purchase transfers only the customer license expressly described above or on the product page. Copyright complaints are handled under the Copyright & IP Policy.

10. Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law

To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss connected to the affected order. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, subject to mandatory consumer law applicable to you. The parties should first attempt to resolve complaints in good faith; statutory consumer-dispute or court remedies remain available.

BornTiger Market Privacy Policy

BornTiger Co., Ltd. is responsible for personal information processed through BornTiger Market. This policy describes processing for customer accounts, PayPal and South Korea Imweb/KG Inicis orders and refunds, secure downloads, reviews, newsletters, security, support, and business records that BornTiger must retain under prior contracts or applicable law.

1. Information We Process

Accounts: name, display name, email address, profile image when supplied by the authentication provider, Firebase user ID, authentication provider, verification status, and account role. BornTiger does not receive your Google or PayPal password.

Orders and support: order and product identifiers, amount and currency, payment provider, payment approval/capture and refund references, status, checkout email used to match an Imweb order to a Market account, download count and time, referral source, refund request and decision, support communications, and review status. Complete card credentials are processed by the selected payment provider and are not stored by BornTiger.

Prior contractual records: BornTiger may retain identity, agreement, rights, accounting, tax, payment, and transaction records created under an earlier business relationship when required to perform or document that contract, preserve customer access, resolve disputes, or comply with law. These records are access-restricted and are not used to accept new public seller applications.

Public content: approved buyer reviews display the rating, review text, display name, and date; email addresses are not displayed.

Newsletter and technical data: newsletter email, consent time, source and subscription status; IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, security and function logs, App Check signals, and essential cookie or local-storage identifiers used for authentication, product caching, and 7-day product-specific referral attribution.

2. Purposes and Legal Bases

Information is used to authenticate and manage accounts; form and perform purchase contracts; process payments, refunds, secure delivery, and customer support; moderate reviews; prevent fraud and protect the service; send newsletters with consent; preserve records and obligations arising from prior contracts; and comply with consumer, accounting, tax, legal-claim, and regulatory obligations. Newsletter information is processed only for that optional feature.

3. Service Providers and Processing Entrustment

BornTiger entrusts limited processing to: Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, databases, file storage, server functions, security, and logs; PayPal Pte. Ltd. for international payment approval, capture, refunds, fraud controls, and payment records; Imweb and KG Inicis for South Korea checkout, order records, payment processing, cancellation, and refund records when that checkout is selected; and Sendinblue SAS (Brevo) for consented newsletters and transactional email delivery. Each provider may use authorized subprocessors under its applicable data-processing terms.

4. International Transfer and Processing

To provide requested account, order, delivery, payment, and email functions, personal information is transmitted electronically at the time the relevant service is used. Google Firebase Authentication processes data in the United States, while other Firebase and Google Cloud services may process data in configured regions and other Google or subprocessor locations. PayPal Pte. Ltd. processes payment-related information in Singapore and other locations used for its global payment service. Sendinblue SAS processes email and delivery information in France, the European Union, and locations used by its documented subprocessors.

The transferred items are limited to the account, order, payment, security, and email information needed for each provider's purpose described above. Processing continues for the service term and is deleted or returned under provider terms, BornTiger's deletion instructions, and applicable retention law. Contract-performance transfers are made under Article 28-8(1)(3) of the Korean Personal Information Protection Act after this information is disclosed; optional newsletter processing is based on the newsletter consent. Refusing necessary international processing means BornTiger cannot provide the related sign-in, checkout, delivery, or email feature.

Provider details and locations can change as infrastructure changes. BornTiger reviews provider disclosures and will update this policy before a material change where required. See Firebase privacy and processing information, PayPal's Privacy Statement, and Brevo's Privacy Policy.

5. Disclosure to Other Parties

BornTiger does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to professional advisers, law-enforcement or public authorities, a successor in a lawful corporate transaction, or another party when needed to establish or defend legal claims, prevent harm, comply with law, or act on your instruction. Approved review information is disclosed only through that optional feature.

6. Retention

Account information is generally kept while the account is active and then deleted or anonymized when no longer required. Electronic-commerce contract, order, payment, supply, cancellation, and refund records are retained for 5 years; consumer complaint and dispute records for 3 years; and display/advertising records for 6 months where Korean law requires those periods. Records from prior contracts, including verification, tax, payment, rights, and accounting records, are retained only for the statutory, performance, or dispute period applicable to them. Newsletter information is kept until unsubscribe or withdrawal, except for a minimal suppression record reasonably needed to honor the opt-out.

7. Deletion

When the purpose and required retention period end, BornTiger deletes or irreversibly anonymizes information without undue delay. Electronic records are deleted using methods designed to prevent recovery, and physical records, if any, are shredded or securely destroyed. Records required by law are separated or access-restricted for the required period.

8. Cookies, Local Storage, and Referral Attribution

Essential cookies or similar storage support authentication, security, preferences, product caching, and accurate order attribution. You may delete browser storage, but doing so can sign you out or interrupt account features. BornTiger does not use these identifiers for cross-site behavioral advertising.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, or withdrawal of consent. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Some completed-transaction, prior-contract, security, tax, accounting, or dispute records cannot be deleted immediately where retention is legally required.

10. Security

BornTiger applies role-based access, server-side authorization, Firebase security rules, App Check, restricted storage paths, time-limited download links, secret management, logging, rate limits, and administrative procedures intended to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and loss. No online system is risk-free; protect your account and report suspected misuse promptly.

11. Children

BornTiger Market is not directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly create an account for a child under 14 without legally required guardian consent and procedures.

12. Privacy Officer, Requests, and Remedies

You may also seek help from the Korean Personal Information Infringement Report Center (118), the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee, or another competent authority.

13. Changes

BornTiger will publish the effective date and announce material changes through the website, account, or email in advance where required. Previous versions will be retained internally so the terms applicable at a relevant time can be identified.

BornTiger Refund Policy

BornTiger Co., Ltd. handles refunds and purchase support for paid downloadable products sold through BornTiger Market. This policy does not reduce a mandatory consumer right that applies under Korean law or another applicable law.

1. Full Refund Before Download

You may cancel a paid downloadable order for a full refund when both conditions are met: (a) BornTiger receives the request within 7 days after the later of order confirmation or the date the file first becomes available in your account; and (b) no secure download has begun for that order.

2. When Download Access Begins

Download access begins when you select Secure download and BornTiger's server successfully issues the time-limited download URL. BornTiger records this event in the order's download history. Merely completing payment or seeing the product in the Buyer Library does not count as beginning a download. If a verified technical failure prevents delivery, BornTiger will investigate and restore access or provide another legally appropriate remedy.

3. After Download Begins

After download access begins, a change-of-mind cancellation is not available to the extent permitted by applicable law because digital content supply has begun with the buyer's prior request and acknowledgement. This does not limit rights for defective, misdescribed, unsafe, unauthorized, duplicate, or undelivered content, or another right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Defective, Misdescribed, or Undelivered Products

If supplied content materially differs from its description or contract, Korean statutory cancellation rights may extend to 3 months after supply or 30 days after the buyer knew or could have known of the issue, subject to the applicable law. BornTiger may first correct the file, restore access, or provide another appropriate remedy where lawful and reasonable.

5. How to Request and Track a Refund

For an order shown in your Buyer Library, select Request refund, choose the reason, and submit the form. The request status will remain visible in the Buyer Library while BornTiger verifies the order, payment, and server-side download history. If you cannot access the account, email hello@theborntiger.com with the order ID, account email, product name, and reason. Do not send passwords, card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

6. Review, Access, and Decision

Download access may be paused while an open refund request is reviewed. BornTiger will show whether the request is received, under review, completed, declined, or affected by a payment-provider error. A decline will include a reason or a support path. Pausing access is not itself confirmation that PayPal has completed a refund.

7. Refund Amount, Method, and Timing

An eligible cancellation is refunded in full to the original payment method through the provider used for the order. PayPal orders are refunded through PayPal; South Korea orders are cancelled or refunded through BornTiger's Imweb/KG Inicis order channel and synchronized back to the Market account. BornTiger does not ordinarily issue a partial refund for a single-product order. A partial refund may occur only when required by law, expressly agreed as a resolution, or applied by the payment provider. Where Korean law requires a refund, BornTiger will take the required refund action within 3 business days after a valid cancellation; the time for funds to appear additionally depends on the selected provider, card issuer, or buyer's financial institution.

8. Payment Disputes and Free Downloads

PayPal Buyer Protection and card-issuer dispute rules may apply separately. Please contact BornTiger first where practical so we can investigate promptly. Free downloads have no purchase price to refund.

9. Abuse and Contact

BornTiger may deny fraudulent, abusive, or false requests only to the extent permitted by law. For clarification or appeal, contact hello@theborntiger.com.
